Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead the daily management and optimisation of all the websites across our global digital estate. As well as ensuring all websites and landing pages are up to date and operational to deliver organic leads, this pivotal role will work closely with the creative, marketing and performance teams to deliver new pages across multiple demand generation campaigns. The role will also input and advise on the roadmap of our corporate website www.xplortechnologies.com to ensure it meets the company’s needs and is subject to constant improvement.

This person should have a track record of managing websites with a strong background in website UX design, technical and on-page SEO and the ability to work across different CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress and/or Webflow).

Last, this person should have demonstrated experience and success building and maintaining relationships across different teams and functions within a matrix organisation. They are excited for the opportunity to navigate organizational structures and help build processes that incorporate input, feedback, and results from several distinct stakeholder teams. Previous management experience is desirable as the role includes managing the Web Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the VP Corporate Marketing to ensure the website is set up to deliver against the overarching business goals
  • Oversee the day-to-day website updates, including the building and updating of pages
  • Work closely with the Marketing & Performance teams to upload, publish and maintain web content according to the content and campaign calendars
  • Lead and collaborate on website development projects to deliver on time, in budget and to brief
  • Ensure websites are continually tracked, managed and optimised
  • Work closely with the Web Analyst and SEO Managers to implement data-led site optimizations
  • Work with Marketing Operations to implement lead generation forms (Salesforce/Pardot) across the websites
  • Continually monitor website experience, developing a roadmap for continuous content and UX improvement

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of website management experience
  • Strong experience of CMS platforms; Drupal (essential), WordPress and/or Webflow (desirable)
  • Some experience of landing page tools e.g. Unbounce
  • Good understanding of performance marketing and SEO
  • Good understanding of HTML
  • Ability to troubleshoot CMS and quickly resolve content issues
  • Experience with Agile working methods and project management (Jira experience very desirable)
  • Able to work to multiple deadlines with proven self-motivation and time management skills
  • An understanding of what works well for our audience as well as maintaining current web trends and standards
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation
  • Excellent attention to detail and systematic in approach
