Responsible for building tailored marketing strategies to support the launch and ongoing expansion of product delivery. Be the champion for new product development and execute on engaging marketing programs that tell our story of innovation and growth, reaching target audiences and inspiring an increase in sales revenue for this new product line. Provide our sales team with the information and assets required to advance product sales in this area.

Essential Functions

30% Strategy Support: Develop and implement custom marketing plans and communication strategies, to support the needs of our product delivery.

  • Provides consultative services and informed recommendations to assigned areas in full support of departments growth initiatives
  • Collaborates with product management to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas
  • Acts as primary thought leader in assigned product areas and key contributor to defining Allied's competitive edge in the marketplace



50% Content Creation: Support content creation and distribution efforts across the company by writing, editing, and coordinating educational and insightful materials to strengthen our value proposition in the marketplace.

  • Write and create marketing material that enables sales activity, including conversation kits, case studies, video and social media
  • Identify client benefits and translate technical details of a product for easy access to information
  • Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes
  • Manage project deadlines and coordinates workflow so that various stakeholders and vendors remain on track towards a successful and efficient outcome of marketing plans.
  • Proofread and edit copy as needed to ensure quality control of all written and designed materials.



20% Collaborate with other team members to drive and execute on national marketing initiatives

  • Support go-to-market initiatives, contributing to overall product objectives and defining clear and measurable marketing goals
  • Identify areas of opportunity to generate new, high quality leads for assigned product areas
  • Support calendar of events to promote key products or trending topics in our marketplace
  • Produce new and innovative marketing assets to gain interest in new and existing product lines



Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications)

  • 4 year bachelor's degree required
  • 2 years of demonstrated experience in a professional writing and editing capacity
  • 3-6 years related experience in marketing communications required
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, communication skills, and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate projects amidst competing priorities
  • Experienced with developing and implementing multi-level, integrated communications approaches required
  • Good grasp of technology and how to effectively harness it to generate results
  • Consultative and decisive, able to work with senior management and stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Ability to work across multiple online marketing platforms
  • Innovative, yet practical with information flow and communication preferred
  • Able to collaborate to implement the most effective overall marketing strategy preferred
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple issues and projects concurrently is preferred
  • Computer and technical skills (MS Office Suite, CMS and CRM tools, and Adobe Suite) preferred
