The role
SoFi at Work is SoFi’s B2B Business Unit. We are responsible for delivering products and services to leading employers and their employees and professional associations. SoFi at Work takes SoFi’s innovative financial products, delivered with user-friendly technology, and supports employers/associations by designing and delivering unique and compelling benefit programs. For example, SoFi at Work developed the first employer student loan repayment program and has since expanded to offer a full suite of financial well-being products and benefits.
We’re seeking a savvy Customer Marketing Manager to co-develop a strategy with our Partner Success team to accelerate product adoption and user engagement within the SoFi at Work and SoFi ecosystem. This new and critical role will involve developing a deep understanding of both our clients’ and end-users ’ needs, working closely with PSM/Ds to develop partner-specific and portfolio-wide activation and engagement plans, and will be the lead in executing those plans. This position is a blended strategist and executor role, so the ideal candidate is passionate about owning campaigns from end to end and likely has experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric organization.
This individual is primarily responsible for marketing to our end-users. We are looking for a user-obsessed marketer with excellent written communication skills and the ability to express complex (financial/technical) information into compelling calls to action across various engagement materials (i.e., lifecycle marketing, newsletters, PowerPoint slides, benefits flyers, and more).
This is a highly cross-functional role, within our Marketing team, the SoFi at Work team, and across the entirety of the consumer business units. This role reports to our Head of Enterprise Marketing.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute partner-specific and broad-based marketing plans that drive user activation and retention of SoFi at Work products.
- Identify opportunities for targeted and organic cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the end-user and B2B audiences.
- Become the go-to marketer for the SoFi at Work Partner Success team.
- Closely collaborate with SoFi’s financial well-being experts (SoFi CFPs) and consumer business units to quickly develop impactful content and resources that help users on their journey to financial independence.
- Create and maintain user engagement tools and resources on the SoFi at Work customer portal to scale your support to all of our customers.
- Be the SoFi at Work user expert, owner of user personas, and the go-to resource for cross-functional teams that need to understand user goals, behaviors, and ways to effectively communicate/drive action within the users.
- Support the SoFi at Work goals of Partner acquisition, retention, and up-sell/cross-sell.
What you’ll need:
- 7-10 years relevant marketing experience, preferably in B2B2E product and/or customer marketing with at least three (3) years in B2B2E user engagement marketing.
- A combination of strategic, big picture thinking and tactical execution to drive user acquisition and retention through B2B2E channels in holistic and scalable GTM plans.
- Experience in building plans from the ground up. This is a new role and there is no playbook to follow. You should be comfortable with rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
- An analytical mindset that uses data to drive your marketing plans’ strategy, execution, and optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Why you’ll love working here:
- Competitive salary packages and bonuses
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits
