Role:
We're applying disruptive thinking about the way people work to Security Operations. We transform the experience to enable efficiency and improve job satisfaction for security analysts, threat hunters, vulnerability managers, and CISOs. Our solutions integrate security operations data and processes with the broader IT and risk community so that the right fixes and improvements happen efficiently.
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive messaging and sales tools to help our sales teams and partners convey to our prospects and customers how and why they should embrace our Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) and Risk-based Vulnerability Management (RBVM) solutions. We need an action-oriented self-starter who can thrive as an individual contributor, enable the success of the security product marketing team, and collaborate throughout our matrixed organization to deliver on the messaging and tools that drive value for the Security Operations solutions.
What you get to do in this role:
- Define and execute product marketing deliverables and thought leadership programs -including but not limited to product launches, technology partner programs, and sales enablement and awareness materials for ServiceNow Solution Consultants, partners, and customers
- Develop compelling product and solution messaging and cascade it into all product marketing deliverables and thought leadership programs
- Lead product marketing programs that effectively educate sales teams and partner organizations about product details, messaging, sales tools and collateral, pricing, and release schedules
- Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Develop customer success relationships and build a portfolio of happy customers that can be used as Sales references and public Case Studies, as well as in user groups and events
- Partner with product management to achieve a shared understanding of the security market and desired product direction for ServiceNow. Engage in the release planning process, providing input based on market experience, customer engagement and research.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing or product management
- Desired: Domain knowledge and experience with security products, ideally SOAR or vulnerability management
- Very strong written and oral communication skills (samples will be requested)
- Excellent team and cross-functional collaboration, listening, and influencing skills, wielded with humor and humility
- Excellent judgment about what matters, with ability to multi-task, juggle, and prioritize
- Initiative and enthusiasm to learn and contribute outside core role
- Ability to turn plans to outcomes with minimal direction through strong project management
- Calm, confident demeanor and work ethic to perform exceptionally in a fast-changing, distributed, and unstructured work environment
- Visual thinker with excellent Powerpoint and Word skills
Travel:
- Up to 10% annually (post-COVID)

Required in Office
A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.
Flexible
A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
