Role Summary

Mavenir is transforming and modernizing the business communications experience on mobile devices with a suite of business mobility solutions that combine unified communications, contact center, business messaging and monetization capabilities into converged customer engagement and conversational commerce experiences.

The arrival of 5G will open the door to innovative business-oriented use cases that combine high-definition audio, video, and collaboration with external, interoperable rich business messaging into ultra-low latency, ultra-high quality communication experiences.

Mavenir is looking for a Channel Partner Marketing Manager to own all aspects of Mavenir's Enterprise and Cloud Solutions Partner Program, both in licensed software and SaaS models. This portfolio covers business communications (UCC), omnichannel customer engagement (contact center, business messaging, campaign manager, flow designer, etc.) and communications platform as a service (CPaaS) solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for defining and implemented the channel partner program, including resourcing, co-marketing strategies, market development funds, communications, processes and tools (e.g., channel partner portal).

The candidate will also be responsible for creating marketing collateral (digital and traditional), as well as creating, managing, and delivering periodic program newsletters, coordinating periodic forum/webinars, evaluating competitors, identifying market trends, and leading other related responsibilities to enable Mavenir's product and services sales and promote the executive team's thought leadership in the enterprise solutions space.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Solutions Marketing, the ideal candidate has hands-on experience defining and implementing a channel partner program in the enterprise communications market, understands the communication service provider and channel partner markets, is passionate about the business communications space, and is adept at producing engaging marketing collateral.

This position plays an instrumental role in defining the long-term direction of Mavenir's growth in the business mobility space. The candidate will work alongside the rest of the product marketing team to create compelling content in all areas of the company's focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement a channel partner program plan, including the design and execution of a strategy to engage the partners, identify and fulfill their expectations, enable them with marketing collateral and supporting materials, and connect Mavenir's sales force with the right partner based on region, customer, or other applicable criteria.
  • Define and manage the end-to-end processes to onboard new partners into the program
  • Develop and deliver periodic communications with the partners in the form of newsletters, webinars, meetings, and regional/local events as required.
  • Implement a partner portal environment to facilitate the management of partner relations, including evaluation of partner portal vendors, selection of the best fit solution, collaboration with the required departments for its implementation and the product marketing stakeholders to provide it with up-to-date content.
  • Contribute to strategic and operational ideation for the effective marketing of Mavenir's Business Mobility products and services, specifically Mavenir's Business Messaging, CPaaS, Unified Communications and Contact Center solutions.
  • Produce content from scratch, including quick-turn-around and media content.
  • Acquire comprehensive understanding of Mavenir's market, creating content targeted to the technical media, customers, analysts, and the public at large.
  • Develop new articles, blog posts, web content, presentations, and other assets, as necessary.
  • Research and validate content with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Conduct research and participate in brainstorming to identify key insights and translate those insights into actionable marketing strategies, assets, and platforms for new and existing clients.
  • Contribute to and work with Mavenir's corporate and strategic Marketing teams, agency, media, and public relationship vendors and partners as required.
  • Work effectively in cross-functional teams to support Executive, Product, Sales, and Marketing groups to edit and create new, unique marketing content.
  • Contribute to strategic storytelling using digital, multi-media, and traditional platforms as required.
  • Perform technical product demonstrations during tradeshows, customer meetings and generate thought leadership through webinars and other live or recorded content
  • Maintain and manage Content Marketing project plan and editorial calendar.



Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a well-respected University, preferably with a focus on telecommunications, marketing, or business.
  • Extensive (10+ years' experience) in channel partner marketing, ideally in the communications space.
  • Additional experience in product marketing, product management, business development, software development, and/or consulting at a wide variety of global technology firms will be valued.
  • Excellent story-telling skills, demonstrating the ability to a create a cohesive and creative narrative that is easily understandable to the intended audience.
  • Strong presentations skills with experience conducting technical product demonstrations (both in person and online) and webinars.
  • Strong knowledge of the telecommunications landscape, specifically mobile business applications, business messaging, RCS, VoIP, UCC & UCaaS, contact center, CPaaS, cloud and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Experience working with executives and Product Management in the development, creation, and marketing of innovative marketing content, strategies, and partnerships.
  • Creative do-whatever-it-takes attitude, adapting to an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing holistic marketing content integrating elements of sponsorship, experiential marketing, social media, content production, and customer engagement and exemplary editorial skills with a strong knowledge of grammar.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to deliver custom research and insights on behalf of Mavenir.
  • Experience developing presentations for use internally and externally, including tradeshows or other industry events.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deliverable deadlines.
  • Expert in PowerPoint, Excel and Word and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficiency in image (e.g.: Photoshop, Affinity Photo), video (e.g.: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere) and illustration (Affinity Designer, Adobe Creative Suite) is desired but not required, if the candidate is willing to learn.
  • Flexibility to travel to customer meetings and tradeshows, as well as work non-standard hours when required (e.g.: do a remote demonstration to a customer in a different continent/time zone)
  • Knowledge of partner management tools (e.g.: Zinfi, ImPartner, Zift Solutions, Salesforce PRM, etc.) is desired.
