Product Marketing Analyst - Financial Solutions

Anaplan is hiring a Product Marketing Analyst - Finance Solutions Based in MINNEAPOLIS. Should have relevant experience with financial planning, reporting and analysis solutions targeting finance and IT customers or an understanding of product marketing for a Software-as-an Service (SaaS) company

Additionally, this individual will have collaborative and cross-organizational relationship skills while balancing multiple priorities. You will build trust and partnership with other marketing professionals as well as colleagues in product management, customer success, field, and partners. Your familiarity and knowledge of the enterprise software market serves as a solid foundation in the space serving and contributing in the areas of product marketing, product management, and product development and strategy. Experience in finance operations or partnership areas will be an added bonus.

The ideal candidate brings a unique combination of analytical mindset, creativity, excellent

Communications skills, financial acumen, natural curiosity, willingness to take on challenging tasks, technical acumen and the ability to develop performance analytics, easy-to understand collateral, presentations, and videos. In this position, you will interact with analysts on one hand and product groups and engineers on the other side. Specific and proven experience in one or more of the following areas will put you on the top of the candidate list: FP&A, financial reporting and analytics, data management, predictive/advanced analytics, modeling, visualizations and data storytelling, and AI/ML.


What you'll be doing:

  • Contribute to Anaplan next-generation platform vision while working with Solution and Marketing leadership team. Execute on key build/buy/partner priorities. Analyze competitive differentiation of this platform in the context of evolving market dynamics.
  • Assist in developing thought leadership and evangelism for the platform by connecting with
  • influencers, press, and analysts.
  • Execute on the finance solutions business strategy and focus. Perform analyses including market sizing, addressable opportunity, win/loss analysis, pipeline health, competitive overview, and customer needs
  • Evaluate key field priorities by engaging with stakeholders from field and pre-sales across all geographies. Provide rapid but thoughtful response to field and market opportunities with
  • positioning and sales materials, competitive intelligence and/or new product or service launches
  • Coordinate with other GTM functions for all vital finance solution and asset launch activities.
  • Develop buyer personas and positioning for solutions as the need arises
  • Coordinate the creation of compelling content (presentations, white papers, blogs, etc.) in the context of how finance supports the business and/or solves business challenges
  • Organize product presentations and demonstrations at events and for customer meetings
  • Work with broader marketing team to support Public Relations, Analyst Relations & Audience Marketing strategies
  • Work with presales to support demos, product management to build roadmap, and partner teams to develop joint solutions

More about you:

  • Bachelor’s degree required from a competitive institution; prefer academic studies inscience, math, computer science, engineering, finance, or marketing management
  • 1-3 years of experience in technology or software company in senior product marketing or outbound product management roles, preferably managing a team; a total of 5 to10 years or more experience required in roles with varying degree of responsibility
