Principal Associate, Website and Digital Content Marketing Strategist – Brand
Capital One is looking for a Principal Associate, Website and Digital Content Marketing Strategist – Brand, B2B to help drive the strategy for our content marketing hub on capitalone.com and join our Brand Social & Content team. The ideal candidate is an innovative and data-driven strategist with extensive site, analytics and CMS experience – who’s passionate about the role of content marketing in the B2B customer journey and driving brand and business value with great digital content and experiences.
What you’ll do
Site & Content Strategy:
Developing strategies that attract new audiences, scaling to expand reach and optimizing to drive deeper engagement and conversion
Partnering with line of business strategists and content strategists to support hub strategies, including user experience, digital journey mapping, tagging and taxonomy strategies and performance reporting
Developing and supporting enhancement roadmap for the evolution of platform features that improve storytelling and performance across the site user journey
Developing, spearheading and supporting site maintenance & hygiene processes for B2B segment content
SEO:
Helping drive SEO strategy for the hub to deliver on our objectives, including
Partnering with lines of business, agencies and other partners to define and drive B2B keyword research and map/identify opportunities that build brand and increase site viewership
Defining KPIs to best measure the effectiveness of SEO for a variety of strategies
Analytics & Testing:
Partnering with site analyst(s) to deliver a continuous flow of insights upon which to base future B2B content and site innovation strategies.
Proactively identifying opportunities and developing test agendas partners to improve brand associations, deepen audience engagement and enhance user experiences
Contributing to content testing and optimization program by intaking, developing and leading site testing and personalization agendas
Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on the B2B targeted portions of the Learn & Grow content hub on capitalone.com; provide insights on improvements/optimizations

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
At least 4 years of digital, web or consulting experience
At least 3 years of experience using data and analytics to inform strategy
Preferred Qualifications
At least 6 years of digital, web or digital strategy consulting experience
At least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing and SEO
Prior experience at a Fortune 200 company or other, large high-traffic website
Demonstrated experience leveraging web analytics to drive site strategy
Demonstrated experience with A/B testing and delivering strategic recommendations from test insights
