Job Description
The Marketing Manager executes and implements subscription retention marketing programs across multiple business units. This position analyzes financial performance for each campaign, evaluates marketing tests, monitors costs and develops recommendations for program improvement. In addition, the Marketing Manager administers special projects and programs as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
- 35% - Develop and execute all marketing programs in conjunction with internal groups at Dotdash Meredith. Coordinates and executes multiple campaigns. Manages campaign process including schedules, creative process, materials, and operation details.
- 20% - Budgeting, Reporting and Analysis: monitors budget/forecast projections, ensuring appropriate tracking and financial efficiencies; prepares reports and analyzes campaigns to determine future plans and profitability.
- 20% - Work with internal, external vendors and partners.
- 10% - Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-5 years marketing experience. Cross channel marketing experience beneficial.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of direct marketing, promotion or production technologies.
- Analytical aptitude and ability to make logical decisions.
- Ability to coordinate and present large amounts of complex information.
- Must have excellent computer skills utilizing current business software.
- Must have solid financial/statistical and analytical skills.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
