POSITION OVERVIEW

The marketing communications coordinator will ensure internal and external communications activities are planned and executed on time and on strategy. You will support tradeshow organization globally, help execute external and internal campaigns and promote consistent use of our brand. You must be very well-organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

TARGETED OUTCOMES

  • Organize all deadlines and deliverables for over 30 tradeshows annually.
  • Launch corporate print and promotional material shop in Europe an Asia.
  • Act as a brand steward, upholding brand and trademark standards and consistency across all channels.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize and communicate tradeshow logistics with attendees such as booking and assigning hotels, scheduling meeting rooms, ordering uniforms and registering badges.
  • Track and ensure all tradeshow deadlines are met such as space registration, booth graphics and equipment, advertisements, PR, parts for display, promotional items, lead retrieval and more.
  • Manage the Ascend print and promo store and launch in Europe and Asia.
  • Manage the production of branded materials, signs and print, working with suppliers, negotiating costs, delivery and installation dates.
  • Support the content team by writing, reviewing or publishing emails, presentations, blog posts, web pages, social, advertisements or articles.
  • Organize and maintain digital asset library, photos, logos, graphics and native design files.



TEAM

  • Reports to: Sr. Global Marketing Communications Manager



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years of experience in Communications or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, public relations or related field.



REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation, resourcefulness and ability to work in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and work extended hours during trade show busy seasons.
  • Task management software such as Asana, a plus.
  • Design skills using Adobe Creative Suite software; primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, a plus.
  • Copywriting, editing and verbal communication skills. Experience with AP style, a plus.
  • Ability to lift 15lbs
