An emphasis on powerful customer-centric presentations, engaging interactive physical and digital product experiences, and one-of-a-kind event designs ensures a learning and networking experience that is valued throughout our community of customers, partners and Trailblazers.

Within product marketing, we work hard to collaborate with events teams throughout Salesforce to deliver these experiences. This role is for product marketing managers that love the thrill of crafting and tailoring product messaging and demonstrations for live audiences to feed the demand pipeline and ensure our sales team can engage effectively with interested prospects.

Integration for Salesforce Customer 360 is powered by MuleSoft. At MuleSoft, our outstanding Product Marketers drive go-to-market strategy by identifying repeatable sales plays and delivering supporting integrated marketing campaigns. We develop product messaging and positioning, campaigns, events, and sales enablement. We build and tell inspirational stories bridging business and technology narratives. We measure our success by our ability to build pipeline and accelerate deals to closure through these marketing strategies.

Our biggest marketing lever is to now take advantage of being a part of Salesforce, bringing together outstanding sales teams and marketers eager to help our customers with digital transformation. As an Associate Manager or Manager on the MuleSoft Product Marketing team, you will drive cross-cloud joint go-to-market strategy across marketing, sales enablement, product and field team. You will be responsible for bringing MuleSoft to life in the context of Salesforce Customer 360, including:

  • Defining cross-cloud sales play and demand generation strategy based on historical pipeline and install base analysis
  • Program management of MuleSoft involvement in Salesforce activities, alignment with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Building and maintaining marquee assets showcasing MuleSoft in the context of the Salesforce Customer 360
  • Driving MuleSoft and Salesforce content for joint programs, internal enablement, and external events
  • Owning key communications and updates to key Salesforce teams

The ideal candidate is an expert communicator who is comfortable partnering with numerous cross functional teams. This candidate blends product expertise with the willingness to drive hands-on, tactical execution of marketing activities to support the overall strategy.

30-60-90 day plan:

30-day: Within your first 30 days, you will acquire a functional understanding of MuleSoft and Salesforce's product and value proposition, as well as how marketing at MuleSoft works. You will also familiarize yourself with the integration market through self-study and by building relationships with key stakeholders at MuleSoft.

60-day: Within your first 60 days, you will have performed a market analysis to prioritize the highest opportunity market segments. You will craft an integrated go-to-market strategy for addressing these market segments and sales plays.

90 day: Within your first 90 days, you will have developed foundational messaging and marketing assets in service of the go-to-market strategy you have developed. You will continue to build and establish subject matter expertise.

Required Skills/Experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience in product marketing at a high tech company, or similar
  • Strategic vision to articulate go-to-market strategy, and the "do-what-it-takes" mentality to lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive execution
  • Demonstrated examples of crafting product positioning and content
  • Strong public speaking skills and ability to develop compelling customer-facing presentations.
  • Ability to develop effective sales training materials, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning
