As a core member of the Brand Engagement team, this candidate will be on the front lines representing our brand in social media. The ideal candidate for this role must be passionate about social media and have their finger on the pulse of culture and social trends.

This full-time position reports to the Senior Director, Brand Engagement, and sits within the Brand Management group of the Buffalo Wild Wings marketing team. The role is located at the Inspire Brands Global Support Center in Atlanta, Ga.

In this role, you will serve as the social media lead for the brand and lead the strategy, content execution, and management of all social media channels.

  • Develop and execute social media channel strategy in support of key business objectives
  • Create meaningful, engaging content and copy across formats and channels that bring our brand voice to life
  • Create and manage social media content calendar and creative brief development in alignment with the brand's marketing calendar and collaboration with key stakeholders and agency partners
  • Partner with internal and agency partners on the management and execution of paid social strategy and campaigns
  • Oversee community management across all platforms and collaborate with cross-functional teams to share feedback / escalate issues as needed
  • Define metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of our efforts across channels
  • Leverage social listening to synthesize ongoing trends, test-and-learn, monitor competitive brands, and report on quantitative findings from social media
  • Monitor, research, and stay ahead of industry developments, creative trends, and culturally relevant moments to push our social media efforts forward with speed and efficiency; create content that capitalizes on various platforms or trends while staying true to the brand
  • Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms that we partner with to create content
  • Support in content capture or social design as needed

Education & Experience Qualifications:
  • 4 Year Degree in advertising, communications, marketing, or public relations
  • Minimum 5 years of digital/social media marketing experience with brands or agencies

Required Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
  • Strong writing experience and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing creative and engaging social media strategies
  • Ability to oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms
  • Displays knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
  • Culturally dialed-in social native - lives and breathes Internet Culture
  • Solid understanding of agency creative/production process and tactics required
  • Goal-oriented, organized, self-motivated, creative, have strong attention to detail, and have the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
