We’re looking for a Growth Manager, Games to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Games team, you will work with a variety of internal Snap teams to unlock the full potential of games for the Snapchat community.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Games to develop and deploy a comprehensive game growth strategy that spans products, platforms and business models. You’ll work with internal Snap teams to establish and manage new programs designed to grow the reach of Snap’s game products and platforms, and drive the company’s strategic objectives. You’ll work with external game partners to maximize the user acquisition and growth features in their products. You’ll collaborate with product teams working on our emerging platforms, and with our trusted external partners, to ensure that our games have the maximum chance of building thriving communities.
What you’ll do:
Lead our game growth strategy, and ensure that our games features and integrations are optimized for building large communities
Identify, explore, and prioritize new marketing and growth opportunities across game programs, managing multiple partners and channels (search, display, video) to efficiently drive new user acquisition
Conduct ongoing campaign performance reviews across channels, partners, countries, and strategies
Analyze game portfolio and platform trends to identify areas of opportunity for further exploration
Closely monitor how your initiatives are impacting topline company KPIs and partner results
Ideate and execute A/B tests to continually improve campaign performance
Partner with data science colleagues to deeply understand paid user engagement in games
Present results, learnings, and recommendations based on program and campaign performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize, prototype, and pursue the highest impact opportunities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of the games industry
Knowledge of game growth techniques, especially paid user acquisition
Ability to analyze performance, provide insights, and proactively suggest campaign improvements to improve performance and customer lifetime value
Ability to influence & partner with key internal stakeholder teams: senior leadership, product, design, brand marketing, and finance to ensure shared vision and drive initiatives forward
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
A team player who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Excellent presentation skills and comfort presenting to and communicating with senior leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
6+ years of experience in performance marketing or a quantitative role (e.g., data, finance, strategy, consulting) with a focus in technology or social media
Expertise in Excel, SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, Tableau)
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced experience analyzing paid acquisition campaigns across a variety of game partners, game genres, countries, and channels (search, display, video, social, influencer)
Experience managing multiple growth channels (SMS, email, notifications)
Experience leading a team of user acquisition professionals
Experience building lifetime value models
Understanding of digital marketing attribution models
