WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Global Brand Manager, Basketball, on the Women's Sport Performance team.
As Global Women's Performance Basketball Brand Manager you will be responsible for leading strategic brand plans and driving marketing excellence. Reporting directly to the senior director of brand management for Global Women's Performance and working hand-in-hand with the director, this role will deliver brand plans that grow the brand and business by creating and building relationships with basketball players and consumers.
You have a knowledge of and passion for Basketball, as a game and as a cultural force.
You can lead multiple projects and build strong working relationships across a matrixed organization.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
AS THE GLOBAL WOMEN'S PERFORMANCE BASKETBALL BRAND MANAGER, YOU WILL:
Partner with the Brand Director to lead brand plans, both long-term and seasonal - included in which are jobs such as setting the strategy, creating briefs, bringing the campaign to life, measuring against goals, and massive collaboration.
Drive a progressing marketing journey against the brand's concept map that offers consumers new, memorable experiences and that accelerates brand and business growth.

Serve as an expert within the men's/women's/kids construct about the women's basketball consumer.
Partner closely with the consumer insights team to identify insights that can be at the heart of the plan(s).
Drive key insights and trends upstream in order help guide the direction of the brand.
Partner with product merchandising, product creation, and sports marketing to help you develop the product marketing plan.
Work with creative and consumer direct partners as one team throughout the creative briefing and seasonal process.
Lead internally through day-to-day meeting leadership, brand marketing updates, and big-moment and athlete highlights.
Measure success and failure against goals and optimize strategic plans accordingly.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As The Global Women's Performance Basketball Brand Manager, You Will Report Directly Into The Global Women's Sr. Director Of Performance.
You will work alongside and with the guidance of The Global Women's Performance Basketball Director.
You will work alongside and help guide the Women's Performance Specialist.

You will work in parallel with other global brand managers that, with you, will collectively build the future of sport through a unified women's sport performance plan. And bigger picture, you will find teammates across the nike consumer construct to share in building a more comprehensive approach to serve athletes* more holistically altogether.
You will regularly collaborate in your basketball work with multiple team members, including:

WHAT YOU BRING

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, merchandising or related field, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training

- 5+ years of experience in consumer marketing or related experience in digital brand marketing.

- Passion and understanding of Women's Basketball and the lifestyle and trends around to the game.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience working within a team and thrives in a team environment.

- Ability to lead initiatives and project teams.

- Ability to balance creativity with organization and preparation in fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Digital marketing fluency.

- Ability to influence decision-makers.

- Passion for sport.
