Executive Briefing Center Experiences, Marketing Manager
SailPoint Technology is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our Executive Briefing Center experience of on-site in-person briefings at our headquarters in Austin, TX, and hybrid/remote virtual briefings to reach customers worldwide. These world-class customer briefing experiences will boost how our Global Sales organization builds relationships with customers, uncovers new opportunities, and tells the story of how we solve some of the most pressing security challenges for the modern enterprise. You will run interviews and study key messaging and value proposition offers to create a strategic briefing agenda, speaker list, and schedule. You will have close working relationships with multiple stakeholders including sales teams, executives, and subject matter experts throughout the planning process. You are a self-starter with the ability to build partnerships internally and externally. You will have excellent project management and creative skills and be able to manage multiple projects and people simultaneously. Strong Communications: You must be able to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and deliver independently on both strategic and tactical program initiatives.
Highly Organized: You should be organized, comfortable establishing processes and guidelines, collaborative, and able to work backwards from the customer to make data-driven decisions.
Programmatic: You will build experiential programs that are repeatable and scalable. The program will involve inviting key customers to our headquarters in Austin on-site (or virtually using video conferencing platforms) to have an immersive introduction to SailPoint, showcasing our brand, culture, solutions, use-cases, executive team, and array of offerings in an engaging and interactive experience.
Agenda: As the EBC function of the demand generation organization, you will be asked to manage a speakers bureau roster against core messaging imperatives in collaboration with multiple internal teams across Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Field functions.
Creative: You will ideate the space and installations to create a brand-first experience and bring our product and solutions to life. You will be managing planning processes, timelines, agency partners, stakeholder expectations & communications.
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Highly organized and comfortable working with spreadsheets, running reports, and using Salesforce and Microsoft Excel.
- Understands how to engage C-level executives, foster conversation, and motivate action in well-organized end to end experiential from invitation, event, to post-event engagement.
- Comfortable generating big ideas, driving process improvement, and executing details and administration for repeatable, improvable, programs and experiences
- Utilize exceptional communication skills to manage internal executives, external VIPs, and create communications and briefing appropriately by audience
- Operational savviness and the ability to prioritize work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Relentlessly focuses on execution and consistently delivers bar-raising results
- Thrives in an ambiguous environment and can independently remove blockers and make decisions quickly and autonomously
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and report against EBC program goals.
- Work with senior executives, cross functional teams, vendors, and technical personnel to create the full showcase and experiential program for SailPoint Executive Briefing Center.
- Experience with experiential marketing programming from design, planning, and implementation.
