Events Marketing Specialist - Connect Events

The Challenge
OneTrust is looking for an experienced, organized and metrics-driven events marketer to drive our OneTrust corporate events. As the Event Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for planning and executing multiple events virtually, in-person, and hybrid throughout the year. You have a passion for creating unparalleled event experiences to propel OneTrust brand awareness, create strong customer advocacy and drive demand. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional marketing team to identify the best strategies for OneTrust; manage end-to-end planning; rethink how to make virtual, hybrid, and in-person events compelling; and track per-event costs and lead ROI.
Your Mission
- Oversee the end-to-end coordination of various types of marketing events – webinars, in-person events, one-to-one meetings and panel presentations.
- Manage event logistics including project trackers, event timelines, budgets, venue selections and booking, calendar invites, internal and external communications, pre-event prep, shipments, printing and travel booking.
- Manage event deliverables such as session presentations, product collateral, giveaways, attendees, speakers, sponsors, and event prep materials.
- This individual will partner with multiple business units, including but not limited to sales enablement team, product marketing team, and marketing operations team, on event execution and communications plans.
- Planning events well in advance is critical for this position to ensure contract and negotiation power and full leveraging of newly established vendors.
- Provide online and in-person event support as the main host administrator including but not limited to back-room support for virtual event platforms and onsite support for OneTrust hosted events.
- Manage pre-event meetings, agendas and status calls, and complete post event insights, reports and develop recaps/execute summaries to ensure to effectiveness and drive recommendations for future programming.
- Assist with promotional items for larger events including advertisements, email marketing, social media, and light copywriting as needed.
- Manage post-event lead submission or internal metric submission, measure event effectiveness, evaluating event ROI, and present on recommendations for improvement.
You Are
- Extremely organized and able to project manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Passion for high quality work and excellent attention to detail
- Strong ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative, and solve problems independently
- Ability to work well under pressure, with limited guidance and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and across all functional areas and geographies, particularly at executive levels including business/function heads and their directs
- Willingness to travel and work weekends, holidays and nonstandard hours
Your Experience Includes
- College degree, preferably in marketing, communication, public relations or related field
- 2+ years of previous internal events or trade show planning experience (experience in B2B SaaS is a plus)
- Experience working in a cross-functional capacity within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
