About the team

This role sits on Okcoin’s Brand Team within the Marketing organization. The Brand Team owns the digital and physical experiences that get the word out about Okcoin. From billboards to event sponsorships, we do it all — and all in the name of helping more people learn about, buy, and earn crypto. 

About the opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Events Marketing Manager to oversee a number of key functions related to events including promotion, sponsorship, on-site build outs, executive speaking logistics, virtual event coordination, and internal event coordination. This person will create processes for events, work with stakeholders across the company and have opportunities to lead an important part of Okcoin’s growth as we reach more people through events.

What you’ll be doing:

• Evaluate sponsorship opportunities based on potential business impact
• Manage relationships with event organizers around the world to coordinate branding 
• Partner with our Brand Design Team on event promotion and space designs
• Hire vendors to help facilitate branded booth and lounge build outs
• Support our executive team on preparing for events 
• Work with internal partners on playbooks for team and company offsites and assist in planning
  

What we look for in you

• Experienced: You have 5-8 years of experience in a relevant role and are comfortable managing premier vendors and senior stakeholder expectations.
• Organized: You can keep track of logistics for multiple events and teams.
• Creative: You bring a unique vision to events and build upon our brand identity to bring it to life for each event audience.
• Detail oriented: You catch typos and slightly off-center signage without missing a beat.
• Ambitious: You bring BIG ideas to the table, and want to not only do things well but do things differently.
• Crypto-passionate: You are familiar with the crypto world and have ideas for how more people can experience it through events.
• Fast feet: You’ve worked in high-growth stage companies and evolving timelines don’t phase you.

Nice to haves

• Experience working in crypto or fintech
• A design background to give detailed creative feedback

• Fluent in multiple languages
