About the role


The Events Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting the APAC Marketing team with the execution of the regional marketing strategy to deliver successful outcomes across multiple marketing pillars, with a prime focus on events marketing deliverables, while helping out with communications, social media, email marketing, merchandise and more to achieve company goals and objectives.

What your working week will involve

  • Assistance in the execution of the various elements of the APAC B2B Events Marketing strategy 
  • Monitor and further research the APAC events roadmap across multiple verticals
  • Coordinate (including ordering and tracking) event inventory such as collateral, giveaways, booth design and set-up, etc.
  • Provide logistics support for Cover Genius events attendees
  • Coordinate and prepare plans and logistics for major tradeshows and conferences, such as the management of events SOPs for the different types of sponsorship levels (attend-only, sponsoring, or speaking only).
  • Build out marketing automation assets for events, including but not limited to, email templates, landing page templates, email content, graphics, and engagement campaigns
  • Support event email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment, and continually evaluate these for improvements
  • Measure, analyze and create reporting on event email campaigns
  • Manage event marketing tasks utilizing project management systems, including but not limited to, event content brief submissions, event calendar management, social media, etc.
  • Interact and communicate with third-party vendors including external agencies, publications, events programmers, etc. 
  • Measure and report upon the ROI of events based on key KPIs

What the ideal profile looks like

  • A Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, humanities and other relevant area
  • 2-3 years experience in events marketing, or a relevant job discipline
  • Experience managing major tradeshows and conferences across the APAC region
  • Basic knowledge of marketing, CRM management, preferably HubSpot and SendGrid
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Tech-savvy with a growth mind-set Detail oriented and organized
