The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Director of Retail Marketing to drive innovation in our marketing strategies and implementation across all retail formats, including mall partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for goal growing awareness and usage of Afterpay’s in-store offering and, ultimately, drive revenue and customer growth. As a key member of the Retail Marketing team, this person reports to the VP, Retail Marketing NA & EMEA, and will work cross-functionally to develop & execute initiatives to support Omni Channel customer engagement across all retail footprints.
The ideal candidate has outstanding strategic, creative, communication and leadership skills, with proven success working within fast-growing organizations and has extensive experience in driving in-store and ROI positive marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities

Drive in-store innovation across all retailer categories/formats with a goal to drive in-store customers and increase value.
Lead development of the retail customer journeys and establish a POV on the most effective strategies and a plan to implement. Create a messaging framework and strategy that raises brand awareness and moves customers through the purchase funnel.
In close partnership with internal teams; concept, design, recommend and create product innovation that drives value and experience for merchants and customers.
Develop 360 marketing strategies with a keen understanding of the customer experience and overall brand, product and strategic goals.
Drive shopping center partnerships from strategy to execution. Be the expert on our opportunities while creating campaigns, programs and initiatives to maximize investment and drive a world-class customer and partner experience. Develop, lead and execute a strategy for the most productive use of in-mall experience and media. Establish and drive metrics to evaluate initiatives and opportunities.

10+ years retail marketing experience (focus on in-store environments preferred)
Significant experience in high-growth consumer-facing or retail-centric environments
Highly collaborative, globally minded with an extremely high level of customer focus and cultural sensitivity
Significant experience managing strategic third party partnerships
Proven success in delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
High attention to detail including precise and effective communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a team of at least 5 people
Ability to travel up 20% of the time
