We’re looking for an experienced Digital Communications and Engagement Manager to join our marketing team! We expect you to be experienced and passionate about creating digital content, managing the company’s digital presence, and engaging the Upgrade community – from customers to prospects alike. This role will report to the Senior Director of Marketing.
As our Digital Communications and Engagement Manager, you will be involved in managing various digital channels. You’ll wear many hats and have the opportunity to be involved in multiple high-profile projects at the same time.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all of Upgrade’s earned digital media accounts
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Design, Product, Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams to develop digital content that strengthens Upgrade’s brand and increases community engagement
- Cultivate an online community of customers and prospects using digital content across a wide array of digital platforms
- Ideate and execute new digital/social/media marketing communications plans designed to increase online word-of-mouth, share of voice, and brand advocacy
- Strategize and work with the Operations team execute a social media response approach for engaged community members
- Monitor key players in the industry (competitors, partners, press, influencers, etc.) to inform our communications strategy
- Use data to analyze impact and performance and adapt accordingly. Track and report on key engagement metrics to senior management
Skills:
- 3 + years of experience in digital marketing, marketing, marketing communications, or social media marketing
- Excellent content creation skills with an eye for detail
- Experience launching and managing earned and paid social media campaigns on channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Analytical mindset and approach to problem solving. Ability to use engagement data to drive content strategy and decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
- Proven success in handling ambiguity in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment
- Project management skills: ability to prioritize high impact activities and keep multiple projects moving forward.
