CIO Communications & Change Management Director - Job Overview

Strategic objectives:• Lead CIO Communications team, reporting into CIO Strategy & Planning. • Drive the communications strategy for the CIO, oversee CIO executive messaging.• Establish and execute communication change management practice within CIO to drive stakeholder awareness, increase engagement, and encourage faster adoption of technology changes across the enterprise.

Operational focus:• Maintains internal CIO websites and CIO landing pages on the company intranet.• Writes and edits CIO communication materials, including press releases, press kits, video scripts, executive speeches and internet/intranet materials, support communication needs across CIO• Collaborates with IQVIA Corporate Communications on CIO messaging alignment to corporate goals and other companywide initiatives.• Organises and hosts executive events such as CIO Town Halls, Ask Me Anything meetings, or other - working directly with the CIO Leadership Team.• Supports communication management in time of crisis• Establish metrics to measure the results of communication initiatives and to drive future improvement

Qualifications• 5 or more years of experience in a communications role and hold a degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing, or related field• Must have experience writing executive communications• Must have technical writing experience for communicating complex technical processes and systems for diverse audiences with varying ranges of technical experience• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to learn executive voice and create executive messages• Working knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural differences across countries and regions• Must have a working knowledge of communications strategy and planning, as well as high-level knowledge of how to tie communications activities to business priorities• Experience in writing and editing across a variety of media (print, video, podcasts, presentations, social, etc.)• Strong attention to detail to ensure message consistency and polished execution across communication mediums (email, articles, presentations)• Ability to lead team and effectively work in team• Must excel at working independently and in cross-functional teams• Excellent Business/Industry awareness and a thorough understanding of industry trends and impact on the business
