The Communications Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day communications deliverables and marketing programs in support of Plexus business unit objectives. This includes ownership of the setup, maintenance, and reporting for recurring and triggered communications, including, but not limited to email, text messages, application messaging, blog, press release, magazine and other touchpoints. Additionally, this role will maintain a current understanding of communications best practices and apply them to the execution of our campaigns in collaboration with stakeholders and other teams to optimize business revenue and engagement.

Job Duties:

  • Performs day-to-day email and text message marketing activities including, but not limited to, campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
  • Assist in the development, execution and measurement of communication touch-points, including but not limited to email, SMS, blogs, PR, and other areas as needed.
  • Responsible for staying up to date with email and text message marketing industry benchmarks, best practices, and emerging trends and opportunities for marketing optimizations.
  • Create A/B testing, scrub/segment audience for communication deployments, and deploy campaigns to appropriate subscriber lists.
  • Edit and update email campaigns using the email WYSIWYG editor along with some HTML.
  • Responsible for quality assurance of all outbound campaigns.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues or customer service requests related to AMB and Customer accounts with email and SMS.
  • Facilitate the completion of ad hoc communications requests and other duties as assigned. Assist management with additional projects and campaigns as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 1 year of professional work experience.
  • 1 year of experience with email marketing and campaign building tools.
  • Experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud email tools, including Content Builder, Content Classic, ExactTarget, Automation Studio and/or Journey Builder, and/or Marketo, and Pardot.
  • Experience with HTML, AmpScript, or similar.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and website analytics tools.


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree.

1+ years of related experience.
