Position Summary:

The Temporary Marketing Traffic Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day intake, routing, scheduling, tracking, and reporting of marketing projects across the North America Marketing organization. This role serves as the central point of coordination for marketing workflow, ensuring projects are properly prioritized, assigned, monitored, and completed on schedule.

Reporting to the Project Manager of Centralized Marketing Services, the Traffic Coordinator works closely with marketing, creative, digital, product, and sales stakeholders to facilitate efficient project execution and maintain visibility into project status, workloads, and deadlines. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Job Responsibilities

Project Intake & Workflow Coordination

  • Serve as the primary administrator of the marketing project intake process.
  • Review incoming project requests for completeness, required approvals, business objectives, timelines, and supporting documentation.
  • Enter, route, and assign projects within the marketing workflow system.
  • Ensure that all projects are properly categorized, prioritized, and assigned according to established processes and business needs.
  • Maintain project documentation, briefs, timelines, and workflow records.
  • Act as the central point of contact for project intake questions and workflow-related inquiries.
  • Ensure adherence to established project management processes, service level expectations, and workflow standards.

Traffic Management & Scheduling

  • Maintain project schedules, deadlines, milestones, and resource assignments.
  • Coordinate project reviews, approvals, revisions, and handoffs between stakeholders and marketing teams.
  • Track project progress and ensure tasks move efficiently through each stage of the workflow.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Follow up with project owners and team members to ensure deliverables remain on track.
  • Facilitate coordination between marketing, creative, digital, product, sales, and external vendors as needed.

 

You Bring (requirements, preferred skills):

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in traffic coordination, project coordination, marketing operations, workflow management, or a similar role. Experience working within project management and workflow platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or similar tools.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills; Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 Applications, particularly Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint. Preferred familiarity with content management systems, DAM platforms, or knowledge repositories.

You will need to be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including:

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Required to retrieve or reposition products like sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Any additional physical requirements
