Marketing Technology & Platforms Manager
Job Description
Join SUSE's growing Marketing Operations team as the Marketing Technology & Platforms Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the operational management, optimisation, and integration of SUSE’s global marketing technology ecosystem.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, this role ensures that marketing platforms are reliable, scalable, and effectively enable campaign execution, customer engagement, and performance reporting across regions.
You will work closely with Marketing stakeholders, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and IT teams to improve system adoption, data quality, and marketing execution efficiency. The role plays a key part in accelerating the onboarding and enablement of new tools while ensuring appropriate governance, compliance, and security standards are maintained.
The position is critical to ensuring that SUSE’s marketing technology investments deliver measurable business value and support predictable pipeline growth.
Key Responsibilities:Marketing Technology Operations & Administration
Own day-to-day administration and performance of core marketing platforms, including marketing automation, CRM integrations, campaign tools, and analytics environments
Monitor platform health, system uptime, and data flows across integrated applications
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of system and integration issues impacting campaign execution or reporting
Platform Integration & Data Flow Management
Manage and optimise integrations between marketing systems, Salesforce, analytics platforms, and data environments
Ensure accurate and timely data synchronisation to support reporting, lead management, and customer lifecycle visibility
Partner with IT and data teams to support scalable and secure architecture standards
Tool Onboarding, Enablement & Change Management
Lead the structured onboarding and deployment of new marketing technologies and enhancements
Coordinate testing, release management, and user acceptance processes
Drive adoption through training, documentation, and stakeholder enablement programmes
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
Work with IT, Legal, and Data Governance teams to ensure marketing platforms comply with global data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements
Support implementation of governance frameworks that balance speed of execution with appropriate controls
Help remove operational barriers that slow the deployment of new tools and capabilities
Vendor Management & Technology Investment Support
Manage vendor relationships, licensing models, and platform utilisation
Support budgeting processes and identify opportunities to improve return on marketing technology investment
Contribute insights to longer-term MarTech roadmap planning
Sales & Revenue Operations Alignment
Collaborate with Sales Operations and Revenue Operations teams to align lead management processes, system workflows, and reporting structures
Support initiatives that improve visibility of marketing’s impact on pipeline generation and revenue performance
Continuous Improvement & Automation
Identify opportunities to streamline campaign operations through automation and process optimisation
Support implementation of AI-enabled workflows and advanced platform capabilities where appropriate
Drive initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve operational scalability
Experience & Skills
8–12 years’ experience in Marketing Technology, Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or related roles in a SaaS enviorement.
Strong hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (preferably Marketo), CRM systems (Salesforce), and analytics/reporting tools
Proven track record managing complex system integrations and supporting global marketing teams
Experience working in partnership with IT, data, and security stakeholders in enterprise environments
Strong understanding of lead management processes, campaign operations, and marketing performance measurement
Ability to translate technical platform capabilities into practical business outcomes
Experience supporting technology implementations, migrations, or optimisation initiatives
