Our Newest Opportunity:

Technology is - and will continue to be - an essential part of every facet of marketing strategy, from digital output to data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is an experienced self-starter and technology enthusiast with a strong understanding of marketing processes and marketing-related technologies. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing Technology, this role is responsible for using intimate knowledge of marketing tools and the buyer's journey to support the MarTech and Client Experience vision with the design, implementation, ongoing support, and adoption of sales, marketing, and client experience technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the marketing technology stack and serve as the primary technical and troubleshooting contact for marketing technologies, including but not limited to marketing automation and digital communication tools, sales enablement platforms, and content management systems.
  • Assist with management of technical resources within the marketing tech stack to support the vision that allows us to scale, automate, and become a data-driven organization.
  • Champion customer-centric optimizations across the tech stack and support integrations between marketing technologies, data tools, etc to enable client-facing teams to understand what's on the hearts and minds of our customers.
  • Serve as the evangelist for our clients and our people, leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights to continuously improve and innovate the digital customer experience.
  • Collaborate with technology and security leaders to implement data security and privacy measures in compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams to improve data quality and data ingestion as it supports client experience and personalization initiatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and consultative guidance regarding technology trends and industry best practices.
  • Effectively support the roll-out new marketing technology and enhancements across the organization, with a driving role in training, enablement, and adoption.
  • Empower and support the Marketing Team on efficient and effective use of marketing technology tools, focusing on continuous improvement and skills enhancement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to consistently and proactively develop, document, communicate and optimize marketing processes, and automate where appropriate.
  • Create and maintain all marketing technology training and reference materials.
  • Work as the project manager to oversee and coordinate across departments and vendors on marketing technology initiatives to ensure progress and milestones are delivered against project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Leadership and other internal stakeholders to define technology needs to support business goals and objectives, including annual/quarterly planning and prioritization of technology initiatives.
  • Assist in budget planning and monitoring related to marketing technology expenditures.
  • Represent the marketing team in an array of opportunities, including participation in internal conferences and new hire training, presenting materials in company webinars, videos, or podcasts, etc.
  • Assist with a variety of day-to-day marketing activities as needs arise.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in managing similar tech stack (Marketing Automation, CMS, CRM), marketing operations, or digital marketing.
  • Expertise in technical configuration, integration, and coordination of our marketing technologies.
  • Passionate about customer experience, digital transformation, and digital marketing by keeping up with trends in the MarTech and RevTech spaces.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong business, marketing and technology acumen with the ability to communicate effectively in non-technical language.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, especially across marketing, sales, client services and IT.
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal and team skills with a track record of developing positive working relationships.
  • Demonstrated record of successfully executing high-quality projects with independence and confidence.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred), digital communication tools, customer experience platforms, and content management systems (WordPress preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with digital ad platforms, social media, SEO, and account-based marketing (ABM) tools.
  • Hands-on experience with enablement platforms such as learning management systems (LMS) and sales enablement tools, including enterprise-grade intranet platforms (Sharepoint preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise-grade customer relationship platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, etc).
  • Understanding of privacy, consent & preference management, first- vs third-party data, as well as familiarity with spam/email blockers and deliverability testing and troubleshooting tools, email campaign procedures, CAN-SPAM regulations, and knowledge of or willingness to learn about state and industry rules regarding communications with clients and nonclients.
  • Familiarity with digital creation tools for graphics, illustration, podcasting, and video.
  • Familiarity with Ai and its role in marketing industry.
  • Familiarity with web design and development tools and best practices.
  • Experience in using Agile development process.
  • High level of initiative and a wide degree of technical problem-solving skills, creativity and business aptitude.
  • Highly organized work style with rigorous attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for conferences, team events, trainings, etc
  • Experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the healthcare, benefits/HR technology or insurance space.
  • Bachelor's degree in digital technology, marketing, or equivalent.

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $70,000 to $75,000 per year.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
