SUMMARY:
The Marketing Technology & Data Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the collection, organization, and reporting of marketing and business intelligence data. This entry-level position is foundational to ensuring the accuracy and consistency of information that drives the firm’s marketing strategies and business development efforts. By maintaining clean, reliable, and actionable data, the Coordinator helps empower informed decision-making across key initiatives.

This role supports core team objectives including the tracking and analysis of business intelligence, standardization of data practices across systems, and the generation of insights related to client relationships, industry trends, and growth opportunities. The scope of work includes maintaining experience data (such as matters handled and industries served), relationship tracking (including Who Knows Whom, clients, alumni, and referral sources), credentials and recognitions (such as awards and certifications), market research, and opportunity analysis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary duties and responsibilities necessary for successful job performance include:
Data Management & Support
Assist with maintaining and improving data quality across CRM, experience management, and marketing technology platforms.
Help monitor data health, flag inconsistencies, and support data cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment processes.
Organize and standardize data related to matters, client contacts, and business development initiatives.
Automation & Process Coordination
Support the setup and maintenance of workflows for data validation and enrichment with guidance from senior team members.
Help track key metrics (KPIs) around data quality and system usage.
Coordinate with other teams to ensure consistent data governance and compliance practices.
Reporting, Analytics & Research
Assist in building basic dashboards and reports to support marketing campaigns, rankings submissions, BD efforts, and client outreach.
Compile research on clients, prospects, competitors, and industries to support business development initiatives.
Help maintain business intelligence libraries and repositories.
Technology Platform Support
Support the use and maintenance of marketing and business development tools, including CRM, marketing automation systems, and data reporting platforms.
Help test and document updates or enhancements to marketing and business development systems.
Stay informed about marketing technology and data trends to support ongoing improvements.
1–3 years of experience in marketing, marketing technology, CRM management, research, or business development support.
Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, or experience management platforms is a plus.
Strong skills in use of data management applications; experience with data visualization tools a plus.
Comfortable learning and working with new technologies and databases.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with clear communication and follow-through.
Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from a cross-functional team.
