What you'll do:As a Marketing Intern, your key area of responsibility will be content review and brief development. Assisting with general event tasks as required, including managing data for leads captured. Auditing database for accuracy, and liaising with internal teams to ensure data is kept accurate. Assisting with internal processes to raise brand and creative requests and approvals. Exploring new ways to improve existing processes such as document control, and internal communications. Coordinating and amplifying internal announcements while assisting with scheduling and editing content. You will also be responsible for the contribution and maintenance of the departmental WIKI.
The opportunity:- 12 month paid work-term beginning 1 January 2026.
- Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hrs/week.
- Content review and brief development.
- Event administration: assist with general event tasks as required, including managing data for leads captured.
- Data administration: audit database for accuracy, and liaise with internal teams to ensure data is kept accurate.
- Email marketing: assist with collecting content contributions, proofreading and testing.
- Process workflows: assist with internal processes to raise brand and creative requests and approvals.
- Maintain all internal and external documents and marketing materials.
- Explore new ways to improve existing processes such as document control, and internal communications.
- Internal communications: coordinate and amplify internal announcements.
- Social media: assist with scheduling and editing content.
- Analyse campaign performance.
- Support the Marketing activities for the Sales team to ensure Partners improve their social/digital presence (co-marketing programme).
- Collaborate with internal departments and external support agencies to develop and successfully execute segment activity including global advertising planning (media, creative and content), PR, product launches, events, and reseller/channel campaigns and programs.
- Responsible for the contribution and maintenance of the departmental WIKI.
- Consistently demonstrate Geotab’s Core Values in all daily work and interactions.
- We encourage an entrepreneurial approach, nurture a learning culture, and encourage social engagement and a passion for technology.
- Marketing, Journalism, Media, Communications, Business or other relevant degree.
- Strong business writing skills and communication skills.
- Proven ability to analyse different data sets and develop insights from this data.
- Excellent British English oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are a must (any other language will be considered a plus).
- Must be highly organised, task-oriented, and have a strong ability to self-manage.
- Must be interested and willing to learn about Geotab technology.
- Good knowledge of digital marketing.
- Good analytical skills.
- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- A strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organisation.
- Proactivity in taking initiative and problem-solving.
