We’re seeking a highly strategic and analytically driven Director of Strategy & Planning to partner closely with the VP of Marketing Operations and broader marketing leadership. This role will be pivotal in shaping how we plan, execute, and optimize our marketing organization to drive impact at scale. You’ll lead annual planning, drive cross-functional strategic initiatives, manage marketing performance measurement, and ensure alignment with company-wide business objectives.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
Strategic Planning & Leadership
Lead the annual and quarterly marketing planning processes: budget allocation, goal setting, headcount planning, and performance forecasting.
Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Product, and Regional Marketing leads to align plans with company goals, revenue targets, and go-to-market strategy.
Support the development of marketing’s long-term strategic roadmap and OKRs, translating vision into executable plans.
Act as a strategic advisor to the VP of Marketing Operations and CMO on organizational effectiveness and investment prioritization.
Business Performance & Insights
Build and maintain marketing performance frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs (pipeline coverage, ROI, efficiency metrics, channel performance, etc.).
Provide actionable insights through data analysis and market intelligence to support better decision-making.
Drive post-mortem analysis of major initiatives and campaigns to assess impact and inform future strategies.
Program Management & Operational Excellence
Oversee strategic initiatives and transformation projects—ensuring cross-functional alignment, clear milestones, and timely delivery.
Serve as the connective tissue across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations—driving collaboration and consistency.
Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, governance, and reporting infrastructure.
Partner with RevOps and Sales Ops on GTM alignment and demand generation planning.
Budgeting & Resource Management
Support the management of the global marketing budget—partnering with Finance to forecast spend and track ROI.
Drive headcount planning in collaboration with HR and department leads; assess org design needs to support growth.
WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING
8–12+ years of experience in marketing operations, business strategy, consulting, or corporate planning—preferably in B2B SaaS, tech, or enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of the marketing funnel, GTM motions, and performance marketing.
Experience leading or supporting marketing planning cycles and managing budgets across global organizations.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills—able to influence at all levels of the organization.
Advanced analytical and modeling skills; comfort working with data tools like Tableau, Excel, Salesforce, Marketo, or other BI platforms.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs from strategy to execution.
WE'D BE EXTRA EXCITED IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
Prior experience at a company undergoing rapid scale or IPO preparation.
Familiarity with PMO tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, etc.).
Consulting background (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or similar) is a plus.
MBA or advanced degree in Business, Strategy, or Marketing Operations.
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
Pay Range :
The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.
