Job Description
As a Marketing Strategy Manager within the Lending Marketing team, you will develop and optimize customer-centric marketing strategies for lending treatments. You will own the holistic segment marketing strategy for Small Business across card lending and new payment capabilities. You will also be responsible for the marketing plan for the products under your oversight, shaping personalized customer journeys across the lending lifecycle. This role requires you to partner across lines of business, as well as centers of excellence for brand, marketing execution, and legal to ensure our marketing needs are met, prioritized, and resourced.
Job responsibilities

  • Own the marketing plan for the products under their oversight, by utilizing our owned channels and capabilities (email, direct mail, banners, digital experiences), and they will shape personalized customer journeys across the lending lifecycle.
  • Partner across lines of business (LOBs), as well as centers of excellence (COE) for brand, marketing execution, and legal to ensure our marketing needs are met, prioritized, and resourced.
  • Own the end-to-end discovery and implementation of new marketing integration opportunities by reviewing customer journeys and developing their leadership as a subject matter expert (SME).
  • Responsible for campaign and journey segmentation, messaging and creative strategy, marketing performance and customer insight analysis, identifying learning agenda items, and investment optimization.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Marketing background required, preferably within the financial services industry
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Previous management experience preferred

  • Comfortably leverage insights from qualitative and quantitative analytics and summarize highlights
  • Work in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly dynamic environment while juggling a variety of workstreams
  • Proactively identify and own opportunities/resolutions end-to-end
  • Navigate senior stakeholder meetings and confidently influence decisions for alignment
  • Collaborate with strategy partners to better understand each supported product and their KPIs
  • Manage a team of direct reports
