Hunter Industries is seeking a Marketing Shopify Storefront Specialist to manage the day-to-day operations of Hunter Industries’ customer and employee-facing marketing storefronts, including loyalty rewards, customer engagement, promotional merchandise, and current or future storefront experiences. This position coordinates merchandise, vendors, inventory, pricing, invoicing, fulfillment, platform content, promotions, and customer experience across multiple storefronts and technologies, including Drupal, Shopify, and future solutions. The role partners with Marketing Operations, Loyalty, CRM, Finance, Procurement, Digital/Web, IT, vendors, fulfillment partners, and other stakeholders to ensure storefronts are accurate, current, efficient, financially responsible, and easy to use.
Essential Functions:
- Manages the day-to-day operations of assigned Marketing storefronts, including loyalty rewards, customer engagement merchandise, promotional products, and other current or future storefront programs. Ensures storefront content, merchandise, pricing or point values, availability, promotions, and customer information remain accurate and current.
- Manages merchandise assortments across storefronts, including product sourcing, selection, setup, customization, lifecycle management, and evaluation of new merchandise opportunities based on customer relevance, quality, cost, availability, and program value.
- Manages relationships with merchandise vendors, fulfillment partners, and other external providers, including product research, quotes, negotiations, lead times, minimum order quantities, service expectations, issue resolution, and vendor performance.
- Oversees inventory, ordering, and fulfillment activities, monitoring product velocity, inventory levels, backorders, discontinued items, outstanding orders, and fulfillment performance to maintain appropriate product availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Coordinates storefront financial administration, including purchase orders, invoices, credits, pricing, reconciliation, expense tracking, and other financial documentation. Partners with Finance, Procurement, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Coordinates storefront administration across multiple technology platforms, including Drupal, Shopify, and other current or future solutions. Partners with Marketing Operations, Digital/Web, Information Technology, and external vendors on platform updates, integrations, technical requirements, and issue resolution.
- Performs storefront quality assurance and supports platform enhancements, testing product information, links, inventory status, checkout or redemption processes, promotions, customer communications, integrations, and other customer-facing functionality. Participates in the testing and implementation of new platforms, features, integrations, and storefront migrations.
- Coordinates storefront launches, promotions, and customer programs, including new merchandise, seasonal assortments, limited-time offers, loyalty rewards, customer engagement initiatives, and branded merchandise programs. Partners with Marketing and Creative teams to ensure merchandise and storefront experiences meet brand and program requirements.
- Develops and maintains reporting on storefront performance, including orders, redemptions, merchandise performance, inventory, costs, fulfillment, and customer activity. Analyzes results to identify customer preferences, operational issues, cost trends, and opportunities to improve assortment and program effectiveness.
- Identifies and implements opportunities to improve and consolidate storefront operations, including merchandise sourcing, vendors, fulfillment, platform administration, invoicing, reporting, integrations, and recurring workflows. Recommends automation and process improvements that reduce duplicate effort, improve customer experience, and increase operational efficiency.
Education/Training Required and Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Merchandising, eCommerce, Retail Management, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
Experience Required and Preferred:
- Minimum two years of experience in merchandising, eCommerce, storefront operations, promotional products, loyalty programs, retail operations, vendor management, or a related field.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, resolve operational problems, recommend improvements, and support automation, consolidation, and greater operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of purchasing, invoicing, budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial reconciliation processes.
- Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, and external partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage product launches, promotions, platform updates, and vendor deliverables through completion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiarity with project management, CRM, reporting, commerce, or content management platforms.
- Ability to analyze storefront activity, inventory, merchandise performance, and customer behavior to support business decisions.
- Ability to self-initiate activities, work independently, manage recurring responsibilities, and appropriately escalate issues.

The hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $36.00 to $40.00.
