OBJECTIVE
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing marketing initiatives that drive brand positioning, business growth, and demand generation in the assigned markets. The role covers strategic marketing, product marketing, communication, campaigns, digital activities, events, and performance analysis, ensuring alignment with the company’s global strategy and strong support for the sales teams.
B. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Marketing Strategy
Define, execute, and continuously update the market marketing plan in collaboration with the Customer Excellence Manager, responsible of Demand, Pricing and Marketing in Western Europe region.
Analyse market trends, customer feedback, impact of legislative changes in our business and overall competitive evolution to propose product improvements or adaptations.
2. Product Marketing
Act as the product reference for sales teams in the assigned markets.
Coordinate new product launches or product evolutions (go-to-market): value proposition, pricing support, storytelling, marketing materials, and internal training.
Collaborate closely with product, R&D, or operations teams to translate market needs into product requirements.
3. Communication, Digital Marketing & Campaigns
Develop and update key materials supporting sales activities (brochures, catalogues, videos, website content, presentations), ensuring consistency between brand messaging and product messaging.
Manage digital marketing activities (social media, newsletters, website content).
Design and implement marketing campaigns focused on products, markets, or customer segments. Optimize campaign performance based on KPIs.
6. Trade Shows / Events
Plan, coordinate and execute actions linked to trade fairs and customer events, ensuring a clear and compelling presentation of the product portfolio and Huhtamaki value proposition.
Optimize participation based on ROI and lead generation.
7. Voice of Customer
Implement a world-class customer satisfaction survey and influence the operational organization to implement changes to better serve the market.
Analyse results, propose improvement actions together with internal teams, measure and track agreed action plan YoY.
8. Collaboration and Support
Work closely with sales teams as a strategic partner for product and market development.
Support the Customer Excellence Manager in strategic projects, portfolio management, and roadmap initiatives.
C. EDUCATION
University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing and/or Advertising.
Advanced level in English, medium level in French.
Advanced user in O365, Creative Suite like Photoshop, Indesign, etc.
D. EXPERIENCE & KEY COMPETENCIES
3 years’ experience in marketing position, preferably managing marketing plans.
Strategic vision combined with a hands-on, operational mindset.
Strong analytical skills and results-oriented approach.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
