Job Description:

The Marketing Specialist position is responsible for analyzing marketing and promotional needs and designing and implementing marketing communications strategies that support organizational objectives with the goal of maximizing visibility and sales. This position will also coordinate event planning to promote BW Converting products and services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Draft marketing communications, including promotional publications, presentations, advertisements, or brochures.
  • Review and edit messages to ensure that they are clear, thorough, on-brand, and seek to preserve the company's image.
  • Suggest ways of tailoring messages and delivery channels based on the targeted audience.
  • Collect data on the performance of specific communications or campaigns.
  • Manage projects that meet strategic marketing plans and ensure effective brand promotion.
  • Identify and implement communication methods and messages to influence target audience.
  • Create marketing messages that are clear, thorough, on-brand and seek to preserve the company’s image.
  • Lead tradeshow planning and coordination with logistics, booth graphics and event planning
  • Design and launch email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage video projects from start to finish to include pre-production storyboards and scripts, talent coordination, shooting, editing, production, and file maintenance of videos.
  • Create social media posts, web updates, press releases, and other collateral/presentation development.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of marketing and communications experience
  • Experience in manufacturing is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Create marketing materials, including layout, design, and content for both print and electronic delivery
  • Experience in leveraging digital trends, tools and technology, data analytics and reporting
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.
  • Independent, self-starter
  • Ability to travel
