About this role:
We are looking for an analytically-minded Marketing who is knowledgeable about modern email marketing systems, email and web metrics and email marketing best practices to join our team. The Marketing will be responsible for supporting the newsletter community of writers with monthly metrics and actionable insights, partnering with the email teams across the broader organization, and optimizing existing emails. The successful candidate will be obsessed with email, marketing operations, solving puzzles, data and will have the skills to work across all levels of the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to be hands on in our efforts to drive client engagement to fuel Gartner’s revenue growth and retention through a curated email program.
What you will do:

Campaigns: Monitor, track and report on email campaign performance. Ensure segments are carefully constructed for all campaigns.

Metrics: Monitor campaign performance and report campaign metrics and provide guidance / recommendations to improve results.

Optimization: Recommend and guide A/B testing to improve campaign performance. Identify new opportunities to engage clients.

Technology Platform: Partner closely with IT platform owners to ensure deliverability, data quality and accessibility.

Collaborate: Work cross-functionally to help manage our email projects with multiple internal/external stakeholders.

Relationship Management: Maintain a Community of Practice with Newsletter owners to share best practices and promote collaboration.

Project Management: Manage, track and report on projects.
What you’ll need:

Undergraduate degree required
-
1-3 years of hands-on experience w/ digital marketing automation tools, specifically email marketing tools (Eloqua strongly preferred - campaign canvas, reporting, APIs)

“Best Practice” email marketing knowledge preferred

Strong organization and prioritization skills

Exemplary operational skills, detail oriented - strong ownership and project management capabilities with focus on results / timelines

Experience with Advanced Excel to analyze email data

Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

Thoughtful communication skills to tailor messaging to all levels of the organization
