Position: Marketing Specialist
Reporting to: Senior Marketing Manager

Position Overview
We’re looking for a confident Marketing Specialist to join our fast-paced marketing team. Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Communications Manager, this position will play a pivotal role in developing and driving omnichannel marketing initiatives for Trojan Battery’s growing lithium-ion business.
This person will work closely with the Channel Marketing Manager and digital marketing team to execute the eBusiness/eCommerce marketing strategy. You will collaborate with external agencies and cross-functional teams to create impactful marketing programs that increase Trojan Lithium brand awareness and lead generation.
A successful candidate has excellent communication skills, works well in a team environment and independently, has a good eye for graphic design (guiding our designers), a modern approach to digital marketing promotions, and above-average copywriting skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Trojan’s B2B eCommerce website content, digital marketing promotions, and new dealer acquisition initiatives
- Collaborate with the marketing, product management, and sales teams to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
- Develop, implement, and track omnichannel marketing programs such as paid media, email, social media, content marketing, PR, and events
- Collaborate with the digital team on SEO, PPC, advertising, and promotions strategies to drive sales
- Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums
- Analyze and report on the performance and optimization efforts of campaigns
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
- Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met
- Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs
- Assist in offsite photo and video shoots
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a marketing role
- 2+ years of campaign management experience
- Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, CRM systems, content management systems, project management, and digital asset management (DAM) platforms; Shopify experience highly desirable
- Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
- Strong understanding of today’s digital marketing strategies and tactics including paid media and SEO
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to derive insights from data
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Manufacturing and channel marketing experience highly desirable
- Ability to travel as necessary (up to 20%)
Salary Range: $70k-$80k*
