Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a talented Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content across various marketing channels to effectively communicate our brand message and drive customer engagement. You will collaborate closely with the sales, product, and external agency teams to develop strategies and execute campaigns that resonate with our target audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles, exceptional writing skills, and a creative mindset.

About the ROLE

Each day at AssuranceAmerica is different, but as a Marketing Specialist , you will:• Develop creative and innovative content for marketing campaigns, including website copy, blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, advertising materials, and more.• Collaborate with the sales team to develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business goals and target audience preferences, with a focus on digital and social media target marketing.• Conduct thorough research to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to inform content creation and marketing strategies.• Write clear, concise, and engaging copy that effectively communicates brand messaging and drives customer action.• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, utilizing data and analytics to make informed decisions and optimize content strategies.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in copywriting, content marketing, and digital marketing to continuously improve effectiveness and drive results.

About YOU• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.• Bilingual (English/Spanish)• Proven experience as a copywriter or content creator in a marketing role, preferably within a relevant industry.• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with impeccable attention to detail.• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and marketing campaigns.• Proficiency in SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.• Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, social media management tools, and content management systems.• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making and improve marketing performance.

Preferred• Experience with graphic design software and basic design principles.• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web development languages.• Understanding of branding principles and brand identity development.• Experience with email marketing platforms and strategies.• Certification in Google Analytics or other relevant marketing certifications.

Physical Requirements• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.• May be required to work on-call or long hours in case of network malfunction.
