At Ferraro Foods, our Marketing team brings brands, products, events, and sales initiatives to life. From Food Shows and Sales Meetings to supplier programs, marketing communications, and digital initiatives, our team works across departments to turn ideas into successful execution.

We're seeking a highly organized, proactive Marketing Specialist with strong project coordination, event planning, and communication skills. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, tracking timelines, solving problems, and ensuring projects are completed successfully.

This position is primarily focused on marketing project coordination, event execution, and cross-functional collaboration rather than digital marketing or content creation alone. The ideal candidate takes ownership, follows through on details, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Coordinate and manage multiple marketing projects from kickoff through completion, establishing timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Plan and execute company Food Shows, General Sales Meetings (GSMs), Supplier Forums, and other marketing events, including logistics, materials, scheduling, and on-site coordination.
  • Work directly with venues, vendors, suppliers, and external partners to coordinate event requirements, catering/BEOs, booth setups, meeting schedules, and other logistics.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Category Management, Brand, and other departments to coordinate initiatives, communicate updates, and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure commitments, deliverables, and deadlines are met.
  • Manage incoming marketing requests, establish priorities, coordinate resources, and communicate project timelines and status.
  • Coordinate the development of marketing collateral, including newsletters, presentations, sales materials, and branded communications.
  • Develop and maintain marketing calendars for events, campaigns, promotions, and other initiatives.
  • Track supplier and vendor marketing commitments and ensure agreed-upon deliverables are completed.
  • Support social media content scheduling, promotional calendars, e-commerce initiatives, and digital marketing activities.
  • Monitor marketing performance metrics, track results, and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct competitive research related to products, pricing, promotions, and market trends.
  • Support additional marketing initiatives and special projects as needed.

The Ingredients for Success

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 2–5 years of relevant marketing, project coordination, or event management experience.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating corporate events, trade shows, conferences, sales meetings, or similar programs, including logistics and vendor coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects, timelines, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
  • Experience communicating directly with vendors, suppliers, external partners, and internal business teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
  • Experience supporting marketing initiatives beyond digital campaigns, such as event coordination, marketing collateral, sales support, or promotional programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accountability, and consistent follow-through.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to anticipate needs, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in foodservice, distribution, CPG, hospitality, or another fast-paced, deadline-driven industry.
  • Experience coordinating large-scale corporate events, trade shows, or supplier programs.
  • Experience using project management software such as Asana, Monday.com, or Wrike.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools, e-commerce platforms, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience tracking marketing performance metrics and reporting results.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Gain broad marketing experience across events, supplier programs, communications, digital initiatives, and project management.
  • Play an active role in bringing major Food Shows, Sales Meetings, and company initiatives to life.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Category Management, Brand, suppliers, vendors, and teams across the organization.
  • Take ownership of meaningful projects where your organization, communication, and follow-through make a visible impact.
