Job SummaryThe position of Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing, creating and delivering marketing programs to support expansion and growth of the company services and products. The Marketing Specialist helps to manage all new products through Commercialization, oversees, proofs and approves graphics, labels, and packaging. Communicates directly among Quality Assurance, the customer, the designers, the suppliers, and the printers. The Marketing Specialist also develops and completes all graphic design needs, such as sales presentations, brochures, flyers, posters, advertisements (print and web), booklets, business cards, and signage. This position will be responsible for social media planning, posting and analytics as well as website maintenance, layout design, and updates. Photography, videography, and editing of both photos and videos are also tasked. Coordination of trade show registration, requirements, booth set-up and advertising.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and manage layout of all marketing collateral and product packaging. This includes brochures, booklets, posters, flyers, banners/signage, logos, business cards and new product labeling.
- Support sales team through market research, determining trends and new product launch strategies and product positioning.
- Facilitate to various sources (print and web) and consult with the companies on requirements for particular projects. Also work with printer source and approve materials for print, color, and overall look of finished product.
- Coordinate tradeshow event entry, booth setup, materials gathering, submitting paperwork/fees.
- Assist other departments with graphic design special projects such as newsletter designs, booklet and brochure development, employment brochures, t-shirt and award designs.
- Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Partner with all departments of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related experience.
- Age: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Skills:
- Graphic Design is preferred.
- Computer experience is preferred with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Premier) and Google Suite products.
- Experience with social media analytics and target performance preferred.
- Ability to process and apply corporate branding standards for application in design.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Must be dependable and be able to work well with others.
- Requires good customer service skills.
- Must be able to work with limited supervision.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Excellent professional and communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility: Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment of continuous change and challenges.
- Compliance: Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.
