As the Manulife Vitality Marketing Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning and execution of the advisor and member marketing roadmaps. The role focuses on supporting marketing initiatives, such as reporting, brief development, budget coordination, content review, and campaign support as well as event planning and execution for Advisors experiences.
The role support an always-on, Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Customer (B2C) marketing strategy that raises awareness for Manulife Vitality with advisors and their clients who come members of the program. The marketing specialist will support end to end management of our marketing intake process and support marketing projects and requests. Employ strong project management discipline to drive marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain broad marketing exposure while building deep experience in B2B marketing strategy, lifecycle and engagement marketing, and cross functional collaboration. This role will work closely with the product and program team for Manulife Vitality, as well as external partners.
Position Responsibilities:
Support timely execution and delivery of multiple marketing projects in a fast-faced environment
Maintain marketing collateral and related digital assets for Manulife Vitality across manulife.ca, advisor portal, and internal owned channels
Maintain and update sales tools and presentation decks by capturing advisor and wholesaler feedback on an on-going basis and completely frequent audits
Execute on deliverables to support advisor activations and key activities
Contribute to the formulation of timely reports with relevant analysis based on data from various sources
Oversee and manage team’s initiatives list & roadmaps
Required Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is an asset.
1 – 3 years’ work experience in a marketing function, or related field
Excellent communications skills with strong ability to create, compose and edit written materials that are impactful and compelling
Skilled in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, and other content management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Seismic, Smartsheet and Adobe WorkFront is an asset
Basic to advance design skills, content writing, and familiarity with insurance or financial institution industry is a plus
Strong project management skills with the ability to pull content from multiple sources and keep on top of ever-changing deliverables within required timelines
A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface and work effectively with a wide range of people
Hands-on and proactive; able to work with minimal supervision
Career oriented with a demonstrated track record of success and drive to succeed
Results-oriented and execution-focused within a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively and provide direction to agency and internal partners
