The Role
Purpose of Job:
We’re looking for a strategic, results-oriented Marketing Specialist to support impactful marketing efforts across our Small Business and Personal Banking portfolios. In this role, you’ll support the launch of new features, increasing product visibility, and driving customer acquisition, engagement, and deposit growth.

You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams—product, analytics, creative, and CX—to execute integrated campaigns and customer journeys.

As part of the Marketing business unit, you will be part of a friendly, dynamic and highly driven team that makes things happen. You will be focused on the direct-to-consumer aspect of marketing to support EQ Bank which is currently at a spectacular stage of growth & innovation. Your key responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:
· Support end-to-end development and lead execution to launch new products/features, drive product awareness, new customer growth, and customer marketing initiatives to grow engagement/adoption.
· Maintain and manage updates to the public website and customer email journeys to reflect account updates, feature releases, and rate changes.
· Brief internal creative team on deliverables and requirements
· Coordinate review, feedback, and approvals of copy and design with all project stakeholders including creative leads, L&C, and Customer Care
· Support campaign trafficking sheets and execution of media plans, track performance by channel and identify optimization opportunities
· Track and report on campaign results and key KPIs. Bring forward proactive ideas to test to continuously improve based on learnings.
· Lead regular competitive tracking including key insights and implications for EQ Bank, Small Business (i.e. rate checks, competitor website & campaign/promotional audits)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Marketing, preferably financial service industry
  • University Degree, Master’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
  • Experience in acquisition/brand marketing and campaign management
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to understand data and derive insights to drive business outcomes
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders internally and externally
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
