Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective (business area/division/product group) sales strategy within the specified market scope (global/regional) and maintain it, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.

This role is contributing to the {Electrification/Smart Power LVS} in {Qatar}.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Low Voltage Systems Marketing & sales portfolio in Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan & Iraq
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in Low Voltage Systems, including IEC Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, advanced switchgear technologies, and Low Voltage Busway systems
- Proficiency in financial acumen and business case development with demonstrated ability to analyze market opportunities, evaluate commercial viability, and optimize pricing strategies.
- Experience and understanding of contract negotiation, including Incoterms, payment terms, and risk mitigation strategies specific to industrial markets
- Proven track record in developing and executing commercial strategies and marketing plans
- Demonstrated success in closing significant sales transactions in B2B industrial environments
- Strong capability to build high-level connections with end users , EPC and achieve sustained sales and marketing excellence
- Entrepreneurial approach to business development with exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Strategic networking abilities with executive presence and credibility in client relationships
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with demonstrated effectiveness in multicultural, cross-regional environments
- Excellent organizational and collaborative capabilities Team player
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, Arabic is preferred
- Regional experience is a bonus
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Sales & Marketing roles with direct accountability for sales
- Strong Ownership & creativity
- Strong Understanding of the commercial aspects of the business
- Strong knowledge of oil & gas market
