Our company is seeking an experienced Marketing Sales Development Representative (MDR) to join our sales team. As an MDR, you will be responsible for managing and qualifying inbound leads through calls and product demonstration. You will also work very closely with internal marketing and product teams to help generate more opportunities from new and free users of AppFollow.


Key responsibilities: 


- Qualify all incoming sales requests and new registrations through emails and discovery calls, involving AEs when needed, and handle smaller upsell or new deals directly.

- Qualify leads and pass only fully vetted, sales-accepted opportunities (SAOs) to AEs.

- Convert Monthly to Annual Customer requests

- Work with marketing to improve lead quality, align on lead generation strategies, and track results to find better targeting opportunities.

- Run structured outreach campaigns for existing customers, researching and testing ways to convert free or lower-tier users into higher-paying customers through upsell opportunities.

- Provide weekly/monthly reports on high-priority business requests, lead outcomes, and key sales metrics (e.g., conversion rates, opportunities created, etc.).


Compensation & other conditions: 


Starting date: ASAP

Compensation: salary + commission (negotiable)


Quota: 

Quota is 10 SAOs (Team Plan and above)

Once 10 SAOs in one month is hit a flat bonus is paid

Any additional SAO above 10 per month is paid out at $x/per SAO


Reporting to: Ethan Maxfield, Head of Sales
