Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Marketing Pursuit Manager based in our Orlando, FL (hybrid) office to support our Florida Water Marketing Team. The Marketing Pursuit Manager will be empowered to work with growing marketing efforts with water clients throughout Florida. Our Southeast Marketing Team supports local offices, strategic pursuits, and collaborates with other marketers to develop strategy and submit winning proposals to our targeted clients. Our team’s mission is to build office collaboration, leverage team members’ key skillsets, and drive strategy for our regions. This position would be backed by a team of experienced marketers who successfully collaborate, promote individual strengths, and support each other's professional growth. Responsibilities

As a Senior Marketing Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide strategic vision and production support for marketing and business development efforts for the firm.
  • Work with team to determine pursuit win strategies, identify client gaps, craft sales messages, identify and articulate graphic design requirements, and help assemble pursuit teams.
  • Develop and run capture plan strategies for targeted clients.
  • Oversee pursuit and proposal activities.
  • Review technical copy and edit for quality and win-theme-focused content development.
  • Perform detailed writing, editing, formatting, and layout of marketing collateral.
  • Write supporting sales materials, including project descriptions, resumes, service line overviews, and executive summaries, etc.
  • Support development of presentations and interviews.
  • Conduct web-based market research.
  • Identify and attend market-specific events, pre-proposal sessions, seminars, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Organize conference participation, exhibits, and marketing materials.
  • Manage multiple marketing activities simultaneously in an effective and efficient manner under tight deadlines.
Program Information
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in the A/E/C industry.
  • Must have extensive MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign experience. Other graphics software and CRM database experience is also desired.
  • Exceptional written, editing, and oral communications skills.
  • Effective project management skills, including planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of marketing experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign
  • Exceptional written, editing, and oral communication skills
