Job Purpose
Note: This is a contract position supporting a 3-4 month long project with the possibility to extend to 6 months. The estimated hours per week are 20-30.
As a Marketing Project Manager, you will be primarily responsible for project management of priority client marketing programs. You will ensure effective oversight across multiple projects and ensure high quality and timely delivery of programs and tactics. The Project Manager will create and own the project plan and manage day-to-day oversight of project timelines from inception through completion. Critical to the success of this role will be the setting and management of expectations for the following: project scope, timelines, team communication, roles and responsibilities and accountability. This will require cross-functional alignment across key functional areas, including Client Marketing, Client Success, Design & Content Team and Development teams. This role may also include direct engagement and coordination with clients.
Responsibilities
- Leads project execution, ensuring accountability and project delivery according to time, scope, budget, and quality.
- Connect and coordinate across internal resources, third parties/vendors and clients for flawless execution of projects
- Develop, maintain, and socialize project plans and timelines for assigned projects and programs.
- Maintain and support documentation, including but not limited to task assignments, meeting notes, materials, report requirements, process flows, etc.
- Serve as point person for monitoring and tracking project progress, decisions and deliverables, coordinating and scheduling priority meetings, documenting meeting minutes, following up on action items and escalating issues
- Work with project leads to identify and address issues, dependencies and risks and develop contingency/best/base case scenarios and resolution plans
- Organize/file project documentation for seamless access, review, approval, archival
- Highlights potential risks, challenges and delays and facilitates proactive resolution internally and in collaboration with clients
- Manage internal and Client review of marketing assets and content. Proof deliverables, review client feedback, oversee updates to marketing assets and update copy docs
- Coordinate and maintain client-facing marketing collateral (within Digital Asset Management System)
- Creates status reports and delivers to teams through regularly scheduled job status meetings.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Management Role. Direct marketing project management experience required.
- Demonstrated knowledge and progressive experience in managing projects within healthcare/biotech/life sciences industries
- Excellent client-facing and internal verbal and written communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Proficiencies include a basic understanding of marketing, marketing production and client engagement, tech lifecycle management, and change management.
- Proficient in project life cycle from initiation through closure
- Demonstrated ability to use project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project/Visio, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace.
- Attention to detail and strong proof-reading skills
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and design platforms (Figma) are a plus
Welldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST and SOC 2 Type II compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either, prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, project management, operations management, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $40-60/hour. Exceptional candidates may exceed the range.
Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment, you may be required to complete and clear a multi-panel drug screening process.
