About your role: 

We are seeking a Marketing Project Manager to join our virtual team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, process-minded, and has exceptional communication skills.

Your team: 

In this position, you will be part of a world-class Marketing team made up of passionate and enthusiastic team members. You will closely collaborate with marketing and creative professionals across many disciplines and report directly to the Associate Director of Marketing Operations.

As a Marketing Project Manager, you will get to:


·       Work with marketing directors to map out the tasks needed to successfully execute marketing-related projects, campaigns, and initiatives

·       Use the established Marketing Project Management Governance Framework to take marketing projects from start to finish

·       Leverage the Marketing Project Value Scorecard Framework to ensure campaigns are delivering business value, on-time and within budget

·       Create project plans with milestones, key tasks, owners, timelines and dependencies

·       Build out projects in Asana and necessary communication tools

·       Ensure projects are moved along the defined timelines, and tasks are completed accordingly

·       Anticipate and plan for potential challenges, working with the team to resolve blockers

·       Create an optimal communication cadence using the correct channels and ensuring all team members are aligned

·       Facilitate and spearhead project meetings, ensuring team alignment and project understanding

·       Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors, ensuring they are part of the process for successful project outcomes

·       Champion the documentation and creation of campaign playbooks and templates based on project execution paths and learnings

·       Augment and improve established marketing processes based on best practices and learnings


To be successful in this role, you’ll also: 

•       Lead the development of project plans and timelines, tracking progress and addressing any issues or roadblocks

•       Lead the orchestration and delivery of cross-functional marketing initiatives

•       Serve as a central point of contact for projects assigned, ensuring team members have the support they need

•       Schedule project meetings and follow up on actions and decisions from project meetings

•       Assign project tasks to relevant parties and provide regular status updates

•       Analyze and escalate potential project risks and opportunities on a timely basis

•       Provide operational efficiency and project administrative support as needed


Your experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience with project management theory and best practices
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills
  • Must have experience working with Agile Methodology
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Great interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Asana master and Slack wizard
  • Experience with other project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack, Mural) 
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
