Duties and Responsibilities: 

Set Strategic Direction and Growth Choices

  • Define the overarching Value & Signature growth strategy and make clear choices on where organization should play, win and invest.
  • Translate brand ambition into portfolio priorities, customer growth opportunities, franchise alignment and commercial value creation.
  • Set the creative ambition, distinctive brand standards and cultural relevance required to build long-term brand equity.
  • Design and embed an integrated marketing operating model across brand, media, digital, CRM, loyalty, delivery, restaurant operations, franchise and agency partners.

Build Consumer, Data and Customer Growth Capability

  • Own the consumer and cultural insight agenda, including segmentation, behaviour shifts, customer journeys and unmet demand spaces.
  • Strengthen the use of first-party data, loyalty insight, CRM and customer lifetime value thinking to improve acquisition, retention, frequency and personalisation.
  • Champion data-driven decision making and define how brand health, customer outcomes, campaign performance and marketing ROI are measured.

Create New Growth Spaces and Innovation

  • Anticipate emerging consumer, cultural, technological and category shifts and convert them into new growth opportunities.
  • Set the innovation ambition and pipeline across food, value, experience, digital, delivery, loyalty and partnership platforms.
  • Build a disciplined test-and-learn approach that enables rapid experimentation, scaling of proven ideas and clear post-launch learning.
  • Define the portfolio content, digital engagement and commerce-to-customer conversion strategy.

Accelerate AI, MarTech and Marketing Effectiveness

  • Set the AI and MarTech agenda to improve insight generation, personalization, productivity, content optimization, experimentation and effectiveness.
  • Improve media and marketing investment discipline through clear measurement, optimization routines, campaign evaluation and effectiveness reviews.
  • Influence the business P&L and determine where marketing investment can create the greatest immediate and long-term value. 
Build High Performing Teams and Capabilities
  • Build a future-ready marketing organisation with the skills, structures and ways of working required to win. 
  • Develop Brand Managers and specialists through clear standards, coaching and strategic exposure. 
  • Create a culture of curiosity, creativity, accountability, experimentation and continuous learning

Leadership

  • Deliver world-class work through teams by setting a clear ambition, establishing high standards and creating the conditions for diverse talent to perform at its best.
  • Drive executional excellence through teams by translating strategy into clear priorities, roles, decisions and disciplined delivery rhythms.
  • Build ownership and accountability across the team, remove barriers to delivery and ensure consistently high-quality outcomes at pace.
  • Coach, challenge and empower leaders and specialists to make sound decisions, collaborate effectively and continuously raise the standard of performance.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Align senior leadership and franchise partners around the market’s biggest growth priorities and choices. 
  • Shape agency ecosystem and strategic partnerships required to unlock future growth. 
  • Represent marketing in enterprise decisions and champion consumer and brand-led growth across the organisation


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Manager or related fields
  • Post Graduate Qualification essential
  • MBA highly Preferred
  • 5-10 years progressive marketing and brand management experience, preferably within FMCG, QSR, retail, consumer technology or a digitally enabled consumer business.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and delivering sustainable growth across multiple brands, customer segments or a full category.
  • Experience using customer insight, segmentation, cultural intelligence, loyalty data or first-party data to shape brand, media, CRM and innovation choices.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content, customer journeys, delivery, commerce conversion, media effectiveness and omnichannel growth.
  • Experience owning or strongly influencing a significant marketing investment budget and portfolio-level P&L.
  • Experience leading innovation from opportunity identification through to sustained in-market success at scale.
  • Experience operating at executive or board level, including presenting strategy, growth cases and investment recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Experience working with creative, media, digital, PR, data, technology and platform partners to deliver integrated marketing outcomes.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field
