Overview: The Marketing Project Manager supports the Marketing Director in the planning, coordination, and execution of a broad range of marketing initiatives. This role serves as an operational hub within the Marketing department, managing trade show logistics, vendor relationships, project timelines, inventory, digital compliance, and foundational SEO efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Shows & Events
- Assist the Marketing Director in planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows and marketing events from start to finish.
- Research and evaluate vendors; gather proposals, pricing, and budget information for use at shows.
- Coordinate logistics with vendors to ensure materials, displays, and supplies are ordered, delivered, and ready on time.
Marketing Project Coordination
- Oversee select marketing projects ensuring deadlines, and quality standards are met.
- Maintain project documentation, including timelines,approval of work flows, and final deliverables.
- Support the Marketing Director with ad hoc projects and priority initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to manage inventory on websites and create templates.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Inventory
- Create Templates for Unit Inventory keeping strong SEO Foundation
- Maintain inventory and waiting on approvals
- Learn foundational SEO principles and best practices under the direction of the Marketing Director.
- Assist with basic on-page SEO tasks such as metadata updates, keyword integration, and content optimization recommendations.
- Monitor website performance metrics andassistin compiling reports to track progress over time.
Social Media and Website Compliance
- Conduct regular spot-checks of store-level social media accounts to ensure compliance with company brand standards, messaging guidelines, and content policies.
- Document and report compliance issues to the Marketing Director and work with store locations to address discrepancies.
- Test Forms and Functionality of Dealership websites and ensure leads are going to the correct places.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Marketing Director and broader Marketing team.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or similar administrative roles.
- Prior experience supporting trade shows, events, or vendor management is a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
