Hartford Funds is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Production Designer to join our financial services marketing team. This role is responsible for the design, production, and management of a variety of marketing materials and company documents, ensuring brand consistency and compliance across all deliverables. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in design software, a keen eye for visual communication, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce marketing collateral, including white papers, brochures, Powerpoint presentations, forms, event invitations, and employee biographies, using industry-standard design tools.
  • Design and implement brand-ready data visualizations using live data in charts, graphs and infographics in various applications.
  • Manage and update digital assets and marketing materials within content management and digital asset management systems.
  • Format and publish content for print and websites, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and compliance teams to facilitate the review and approval of marketing materials.
  • Support annual and periodic updates to product-related documents and marketing materials.
  • Participate in quality control checks to ensure design accuracy and consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with print vendors for production and shipping of marketing pieces.
  • Assist with rebranding projects and enhancements to marketing platforms and tools.
  • Provide support to marketing staff with design software usage, best practices and departmental processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of professional design experience (internships or freelance work welcome).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital asset management (DAM) platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for effective design and data visualization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in compliance processes for marketing materials is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for marketing content generation.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$45,000 - $70,000
