What You'll Do
- Relationship Building: Initiate warm outbound communications via phone, email, and LinkedIn to connect with current and potential clients and partners.
- Create Strong First Impressions: Serve as the first point of contact in our outreach strategy (including high-volume email writing, phone calls, etc.) creating a positive and memorable first impression of BIS.
- Discover Insights & Stories: Gather insights and stories through authentic conversations that can inform our marketing content and strategies.
- Enable Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to pass qualified leads and insights for follow-up and deeper engagement.
- Communicate with Agility: Adapt communication style and tone to different audiences with ease—being a “conversation chameleon” who listens first and tailors follow-up accordingly.
- Coordinate Strategic Campaigns: Work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate outreach strategies and support broader marketing campaigns.
- Support Podcast Growth: Contribute to podcast guest sourcing and pre-interview prep for our ongoing content efforts.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve outreach strategies through feedback, training, and data-driven insights
Who You Are
- Passionate about talking to people, discovering their stories, and building connections.
- Not pushy—intuitively knows when to step back and when to move forward in conversations.
- Has 3–5 years of professional experience in customer outreach, relationship development, or inside sales, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Able to handle repetitive outreach tasks with focus and consistency, while bringing energy to every interaction.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong English fluency—natural, conversational, and professional.
- Comfortable on the phone, on camera/podcasts and at events, as needed.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative—enjoys learning through feedback and being part of a cross-functional team.
- Tech-savvy and familiar with tools such as LinkedIn, CRM platforms, and virtual communication software.
- Curious and coachable, with a desire to grow personally and professionally as the role itself grows and evolves.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in the EHS industry
- Background in podcasting, event planning or guest coordination
- Familiarity with CRM tools
