Role Description

Mission:  

The Marketing Operations Specialist role is best suited for individuals with email marketing experience. In this position, the Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including lead management, CRM updates, reporting, website updates, and email marketing. 

The Marketing Operations Specialist is a completely remote role. Candidates must be located in either the United States or Canada. 

Responsibilities

Lead and Database Management

  • Accept and process leads across a variety of sources.
  • Conduct regular audits of the database to ensure data cleanliness.
  • Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations.

Digital Marketing Implementation

  • Implement end-to-end digital marketing tactics, including email marketing, social media campaigns, and website updates.
  • Analyze and report on email campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Implement A/B testing to continuously improve email marketing metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in digital and email marketing, incorporating them into ongoing strategies.
  • Report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, website traffic, and social media engagement to measure success and identify areas of improvement.
  • Participate, along with the whole Marketing Team, in new marketing activities and campaigns.

Education and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or relevant field experience.
  • A minimum of two years of marketing experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience using HubSpot.
  • Multi-channel Digital Marketing campaign design.
  • Knowledge of website best practices and familiarity with WordPress or comparable CMS.

Computer Skills

  • A desire to learn new technology.
  • Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Web page production experience required (HTML, CSS, WordPress, CMS).
  • Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy.

Written Skills

  • Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy.

Other Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Must be well-organized and self-motivated.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Proficiency to learn new tools.

Nice to Have:

  • HubSpot Marketing Software Certification.
  • Experience creating and writing email sequences.
  • Thorough knowledge of social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
  • Blogging and social media writing and management.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (Acumatica Cloud ERP preferred).
  • Google Analytics, Google Ads, and/or Bing Ads knowledge.
