The Role

About Persona

Persona is the configurable identity platform built for businesses in a digital-first world. Verifying individuals and organizations is harder — but more important — than ever, with AI enabling fraudsters to launch sophisticated accounts at scale and regulations evolving rapidly.

We’ve built Persona to support practically every use case and industry — that’s why we’re able to serve a wide range of leading companies. For example, OpenAI relies on Persona to keep bad actors out, protecting one of the world’s most powerful AI platforms from large-scale abuse in a time when AI is reshaping the way we work and live.

We believe that making the internet safer and more human requires a team that reflects the diverse, global nature of the people we aim to serve. We’re growing rapidly and looking for exceptional people to join us.

About the Role

As Persona continues to scale our go-to-market operations, we’re seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to improve data infrastructure, accelerate pipeline growth, surface valuable insights, and enhance marketing strategy through data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.

This is a highly cross-functional role. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Monetization to align on strategy, optimize workflows, and ensure consistent, high-quality execution across the funnel. Your impact will be felt through improved campaign efficiency, stronger data integrity, and scalable marketing systems.

What you'll do at Persona

  • Onboard, maintain, and continuously optimize the marketing tech stack, including Marketo, Qualified, Segment, Amplitude, Clearbit, and Zapier. Ensure interoperability and data integrity for accurate reporting and KPI tracking.

  • Manage implementation of new Marketo program templates, including audience list creation, lead capture and routing rules, and reporting template creation.

  • Own campaign operations for in-person events and conferences, including Marketo program builds, list uploads, lead processing, and improving speed to lead.

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps to continuously optimize lead upload, matching, and tracking processes to understand campaign performance, including source and influenced pipeline.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to build and maintain a lead/account scoring model to improve lead quality and conversion.

  • Support reporting and operational initiatives across marketing to drive performance improvements and process efficiencies, including the creation and management of cross-functional processes.

  • Design and maintain reporting and analytics across the marketing team to surface early performance indicators, trends, campaign ROI, and pipeline impact by connecting data across systems like SFDC and Marketo.

  • Support Marketing on ad-hoc analysis to drive campaign efficiency and uncover opportunities for growth.

What you’ll bring to Persona

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or a related role, ideally within B2B SaaS.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC), including building reports and dashboards.

  • Marketo or similar MAP admin-level experience with deep knowledge of program and campaign setup.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills; SQL or data pipeline experience is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for improving process efficiency and data accuracy.

  • Experience with modern marketing tools such as ZoomInfo, Outreach, Qualified, 6Sense, Clearbit, Amplitude, GA, and Segment — including integrations and ongoing management.

  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) tools and strategy is a plus.

  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a bias for action and strong ownership.

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Benefits and perks

Persona offers a wide range of thoughtful and inclusive benefits for this role, including medical, dental, and vision, 3% 401(k) contribution, unlimited PTO, quarterly mental health days, family planning benefits, professional development stipends, wellness benefits, unlimited paid time off, among others. While we believe competitive compensation and benefits are a critical aspect of you deciding to join us, we do hope you consider why our core values and culture are right for you.
