About you:  

We are seeking a talented Marketing Operations Engineer II to join our Marketing Platforms team within Global Technology Services. This hands-on technical role focuses on the configuration, maintenance, and integration of our Marketing Technology stack, primarily centered around Salesforce, Marketo, Databricks, Bizzabo, and Dreamdata.

You will be responsible for implementing technical solutions for marketing campaigns, troubleshooting platform issues, managing data integrations, and supporting both business-as-usual operations and strategic change initiatives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and stakeholder collaboration to keep our marketing technology ecosystem running smoothly and efficiently.

Day to day you will:

  • Configure and maintain marketing automation programs in Marketo — including smart campaigns, smart lists, forms, landing pages, and email templates — while managing Salesforce-Marketo synchronisation and troubleshooting sync errors
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between marketing platforms using APIs and middleware tools, managing data synchronisation across Marketo, Salesforce, Databricks, and other marketing tools
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues including sync errors, Apex triggers, and workflow failures, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to optimise platform performance
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for marketing platform performance and campaign metrics, ensuring data accuracy and availability to support business insights

Your skills and experience might also include:

  • Experience with event management or revenue attribution platforms
  • Familiarity with middleware/iPaaS platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, or Zapier
  • Adobe Certified Expert (formerly Marketo Certified Expert) or Adobe Certified Master certification
  • Experience supporting multi-regional, enterprise-scale marketing operations in an agile or scrum environment
